About ACT-UP, Fight Back, Fight AIDS
A group for photos of meetings, demonstrations, concerts, rallies, artwork, Gran Fury posters etc. with the stated goal to raise awareness, gain better healthcare, recognize natural or alternative treatments in the AIDS fight, doing clean needle exchanges, education about safer sex practices or improving the study of AIDS or HIV-related illnesses for men and women of any sexual orientation. The photos do not have to be purely from ACT-UP but can also include other related AIDS activist organizations.
Photos from the historic and powerful first days of ACT-UP (the AIDS Coalition To Unlease Power) in the late 1980s and early 1990s are especially welcome.
If you post inappropriate content, especially hateful content, you will be banned.
