Has anyone got the dimensions/sq footage of the A840 spinnaker? Amrum has a cruising chute, which is fine for reaching, but I'm thinking of getting a spinnie made. There doesn't seem to be anything on the Achilles website under the specs for the different boats. Alternatively, does anyone have one in good condition for sale?

Sorry for not replying sooner, Ron - been very tied up recently. What's the spinny like? Happy if you want to Flickr mail me about it.

I think the rig on the 840 is the same as the 9 so, a 9m one should fit.

Measured Super Snoopy (aka Amrum 111) spinny the other day. 34'1" on the green side; 33'9" on the red side; 18'10" straight across the foot (but there is some fullness below). Don't understand the asymmetry - perhaps the sailmaker had a bad day? The spec suggests 728 sq ft. Whatever it is, it looks huge and the spinnaker pole is longer that the boom!
