Whouter's Parasailer? / Spinnaker? / Gennaker? big jib?

whiche one is easier to work with singel hand, but still fast.
Is a Genaker a possibility for an Achilles...

Chille has a cruising chute we used often. easy.
She also has a spinny we never used,
Goskar has a large Genny (roller) I sail just off the down wind to just fill both sails , avoiding the gybe ,,, seems to be as fast short term as rigging the Spinny ,,, (i sail Goskar single handed mostly) And safer!
Norman on the other hand!!!!,,,,,

I use my spi also but, after having it suggested by Chris Butler, I am installing a bowsprit: looks fab, makes for easy downwind sail area and is more balanced as the two sails are fore and aft of each other. As soon as I try it I will report on success/failure of project. A small sail on the bowsprit it also useful for sheet to tiller steering I understand. Never tried it but it would appear that you attach the sheet from the head sail to the tiller and counteract with surgical tube/bungee. Anyone?

Check it out on the web,,, the yanks do it , problem is lots of ropey stringy stuff in cockpit, and lots of setting up. but can work.
I put a S/s bowsprit on a Seamaster 23,, too decrease weather helm
(and cut 14ins off main. ) Did not help much.. in the end I cut 6ins off the rudder trailing edge add it to the front,, total cure,,

Figured there must be a catch Ron. No intention of trying the steering thing, just love bowsprits. Nice weather helm cure by the way. I like its boldness.
