09 Nov 08 - Reminder - this pool is for photographs of abstract material (not abstract artwork) without the photographs being heavily altered. If the colors in the image looked like they have been changed, other than to b&w, than the image will probably not get approved. If objects in the photo are fairly recognizable, it probably will not get approved.

About Abstract Photo Galore
Abstract photography is what this group is all about. Sure, there are other abstract photo groups, but the good ones are limited to 50 postings per month. This group will allow up to 15 photos per day, which equals about 450 per month.
Rules are quite simple: A submission must be an abstract photograph that is not heavily altered, and not a picture of an abstract painting. Nothing offensive. Nothing pornographic.
Once again: Only photographs that are not heavily altered and not of abstract paintings. No computer generated abstractions. Nothing offensive.
Admins reserve the right to deny any submissions without explanation. If it is felt that the photo is not abstract, it will not be approved. Please, no hard feelings if your photo is not approved.
Examples of photos that will probably not be approved even though the image itself is abstract: reflections in water, reflections in windows, running water in a river, intentionally blurred pictures, pictures with long exposures of light trails.
