About ABC Seattle

Think of this group as a virtual alphabet book -- one focused exclusively on the Seattle metro area. (The idea came from Joanne Dugan's book ABC NYC.)

We're looking for three kinds of photos:

1) I is for Icon:
Photos of local icons, landmarks, or other famous elements that could create the phrase "[letter] is for [subject of photo]." Examples: S is for Smith Tower, R is for Rainier, M is for monorail, etc. These should be instant gets -- if S is for Space Needle, the Space Needle should be the obvious focus of your shot.

2) Words:
Similar to #1, but photos of a word or phrase that completes the "a is for" formulation. Street signs, building names, graffiti, signs..sky's the limit. Example: A is for Aurora, when the photo's of the sign.

3) Letters:
Like it sounds: photos of single letters. The Q from Q13, the Tully's T, the Rainier Beer R.

If you go with 1 or 2, you could include a description (or title) that spells out the alphabet phrase: P is for Pacific Place, for example.
