These pools are creeeeeepy. I still haven't come accross a speciman of pool abandonment. Well actually I did but wasn't aware of it at the time. I was admiring a very large goldfish pond on an old property. Months later I was told it's an old swimming pool!! I am waiting to get back and see for myself!

there is a wonderful abandoned pool in rabaul, papua new guinea, tht is filled with volcanic ash from the 1994 eruption. i was there in 98 but without a camera. may have been cleaned by now... but i expect not. the pace is slow in rabaul
