Welcome to abandonded gas stations

This group is all about old world gas stations. I live in the Southeastern part of the US and find this topic very interesting. As I drive around different parts of the South, I often find rusty gas pumps and gas stations that have been abandonded for many years. It will be interesting to continue documenting this subject with the state of oil in our world.

My Grandfather used to own a BP station here in Ontario. So I think of him sometimes when I see an old fashioned service station. Most of those around now are just gas and convenience stores.
I added some photos which I took today while on a road trip. It was on a really interesting property but in the middle of nowhere, between several towns but close to none, not even a hugely busy road. No wonder it didn't thrive.
