About Infographics Spring 2010 - Academy of Art

Class: Interactive Infographics (Grad class at Web Design & New Media)

OVERVIEW: Students design a static infographic using data/content that they have researched. The final format is a printed poster. All artwork must be original (or modified to avoid copyright issues). The target audience, journalistic value, potential print media (i.e. what magazine would it appear in), and awareness of Tufte's concepts should be considered as a factors in making design and editorial decisions.
