About Connecting Communities #ConCom09
Do you have a favorite Arabic restaurant in Dearborn? Do you have a special Detroit hangout? Where do you buy your paczkis in Hamtramck? How do you celebrate the diversity of metro Detroit?
In conjunction with the Arab American National Museum’s exhibition, Connecting Communities, we are inviting you to share your photos of Dearborn, Detroit and Hamtramck. These three cities are the focus communities for our look at the common experiences of immigrants in Michigan, but also throughout the nation.
Do you have a photo showing diversity in these cities? Select photos may be added to the Connecting Communities exhibit!
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS
To submit photographs, simply join this group and add your photograph to the pool anytime through April 30, 2010. Submissions are moderated, so it may take a day for your photograph to appear in the group. If used in the exhibition, your photograph will be credited using your flickr username.
