About A Place For Portraits

I know there are lots of Portraiture in Flickr, but I decided to make my own.

Why? Because just today I removed 206 of my portraits from one group because it started out a portraits and turned into a site full of photos that are the quality that if were in Magazines would have to be sold behind the counter or sent to you in a plain brown wrapper! I hated it when I posted a Portrait of a friend, sent them to the site, and they open it to find photos of folks doing thing to themselves that no one should ever have to see.

So, enter your portrait photographs here. Old ones, new ones, school photos , self portraits, pet portraits, ... We all know what a portrait is: a picture usually showing the face. This is a "Family-Friendly" group. That being said, any photo that is not a portrait or is not suitable for all ages to see, will be deleted. Hopefully it will never come to that. SO stated plainly: No Nudity, No Adult Content, No Porn - I hope that is clear enough.

Post as much as you like and invite your friends.
