The Mail Art is a free form of artistic communication that involves all nations in the world capable of developing relations of friendship and brotherhood with the overcoming of geographical distances - cultural - ideological, with the participation in international projects, with the exchange of works artistic and including meetings during which they are carried out installations, performances and actions poetic. The authorship of this "international art circuit" should be attributed to the provocative and original American artist Ray Johnson, who - by then part of the Fluxus movement, which included inside the various aspects of the Mail Art - gave full autonomy to the latter with the birth of the New York correspon Dance School of Art, thus making it an art form and total freedom, outside the patterns dictated by power and the market, and almost "underground", while institutions, colleges and universities have always interested in this movement, being inside a great lesson in democracy, because nothing is refused and, in the event of the exhibition, all works are exhibited, as non-discrimination is one of the main aspects of the spirit of Mail Art.
The artists will exchange art ephemeral typically (ephemera) in the form of illustrated letters, zines, illustrated envelopes, decorated with stamps or other instruments, artist trading cards, postcards, postcards, artistamp (Stamps d'Artista), rubberstamp (stamps Invented) all done strictly by hand and then a small work of art as an integral part of its' poetic 'symbolic. Our collection and the exhibition will not be for profit.
Here are some points to remember:
- Free theme, but suitable for children aged 6 to 10 years
- Technical and free tools to give broad freedom to creativity
- Participation free and open to all Italian and foreign artists
- Each artist will participate to a maximum of 5 Mail Art (there will be no refund the mail art will
be used for other exhibitions, it is believed already to a traveling exhibition)

- The date for participation from October 1 2008 to 18 March 2009, deadline that will reach all Mail
Art
- Even pupils in classes of primary school attended by sending their Mail Art to all artists who want
to enter in the shipment of their work, mailing address.

The 1st Exhibition will be held at the end of school year, from 6 to 28 June 2009 (we are awaiting confirmation for the period from the date of the Municipal Board)
The exhibition will be staged in a prestigious environment, the local will be chosen from the materials received and is still an area that is usually intended for the most important exhibitions of art from the Municipal Administration of Sacile supports his patronage.
It will carry the organization and production of posters with the names of artists and given information through local press and web.
