About Anthropomorphise

Anthropomorphise, verb: "Ascribe human features to something".

Mickey Mouse, Hong Kong Phoey, Scooby Doo etc. are all examples of anthropomorphised characters, but it doesn't stop there...

Anthropomorphism is cool and pops up when perhaps you'd least expect it. Mostly it's used in advertising by attributing a product with human-like features such as the Anchor Butter Men, Pillsbury Dough Boy etc. It's also used in entertainment, toys, cartoons, food and more - surprise us!

Upload your images of animals, objects or other weirdness that has been given the gift of life through anthropomorphism. Have fun with it, see what you can find. Go fourth and Flickr...

The Rules: (as I make them up...)

1.Let's be clear; dolls, action men and other 'human' toys don't count (they can't be human to begin with) - try and find the most surreal examples you can.

2.Please keep your posts to unique examples. Post as many pics as you like, but not of the same thing.

3.If it gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling either a)you've had an accident or b) it's been anthropomorphised.

4.Please add the tag anthropomorphise to your pictures.
