About Wayne County Photography Club

Welcome to the Wayne County (Utah) Photography Club. The purpose of the club is to meet other photographers and use the shared experience to have fun and become better photographers. It is hoped that most of the activities of the club will happen "in person" and "in the real world". Yet, I thought I'd create a site where we can post our images and make announcements in between our "real world" encounters.

IMAGES
The group pool is the place to show your images to the other members of the group. Please don't flood the pool with every single image you take. We don't necessarily want 20 pictures of the same barn from slightly different angles. Rather, select your best recent images to share with the group. To add a photo to the pool, go to your image. Directly above the images you will see small icons. Click the "send to group" icon, scan down and choose "Wayne County Photography Club" and click on that. A confirm box should show up, click OK.

Please only appropriate images. This is considered a "safe" group suitable for all ages.

DISCUSSIONS
This is the place to announce meetings, arrange "field trips", gather partners for a shoot, discuss ideas, share information, etc. You can also post images on a discussion thread that you'd like feedback on "which one is better" or "I need some help on this one".

To add an image to a discussion thread: go to your image. Choose "all sizes" from the icons above the image. Medium size is usually the best size for threads so choose medium. Scroll down below the image and highlight/copy all the text in the first box. Return to the group page. If you want to start a new thread, select "post a new topic" and paste it in the text box. If you want to add it to an existing discussion, select that thread and paste in the "reply" box plus any text you want to add. Either way, the image will show up and it will also serve as a link to that image's page. If the rest of us want to view it larger, we can click on the image which will take us to the image page and click "all sizes" and click "large" or "original")

Any questions, post them in the discussion thread and hopefully someone will respond.

Thanks
Have fun and play nice
Zach
