About Icons and Symbols
This pool - anthropological in nature - is for pics of icons and symbols which represent humanity and human cultures.
Icons: an artistic visual representation or symbol of anything considered holy and divine, such as God, saints or deities. An icon could be a painting, sculpture, or mosaic.
Anthropology: the science that treats of man, his origins, historical and cultural development, and races.
So basically... stuff you'd see in museums, temples, churches or archeological sites.
