About Original Talent
This group has been triggered due to a number of problems i continuously come across on various sites like these,
... very popular work because of what it is/what it contains, rather than the image itself!
...copying, people who copy , use and/or do their own version of something that has been done before without crediting and/or claiming to have an individual style etc!
...people who steal and misuse images!
Now im sure im not the only one who has this problem! But what can we do about it? well, i believe it may be worth having a number of genuine photographers who can appreciate the creative and technical ability of those fortunate enough to be good at something such as photography!
I would like a large number of people to show their appreciation to this talent by taking action, This will involve commenting and messaging these people abusing the kindness of someone to show their work to the world!
So, comment this group , link it, pass it on etc, w/e you have to do to spread the word, and we will follow it up with examples of this problem which can then be targeted to get people the credit they deserve or have this scammers remove their images!
I for one always try to credit any inspiration source if there has been one and i believe people should be appreciated rather than used! So spread the word in you own blogs etc and let get started! =]
OH! And lets see your great photography and invite others!
