About Lost Planet Maps
In this digital repository you will find 'Lost Maps of Planets', and maybe 'Maps of Lost Planets'.
The 'wild speculation' is that intelligent beings have lost and left behind maps & 'globes' of their native landscapes & planets. And these puzzling artifacts litter our own planet.
Alternatively, for Kurt Vonnegut & 'Flight of the Navigator' fans, hovering out in the local vacumn, are space travellers in need of a new AtoZ of their destination. And by power of there enoumous intilect, they are able to make us mere earthling construct these vital guides for them.
This group is about images of objects that appear to be maps of places that don't exist. Except that if you believe that the Universe is infinite, there is a good chance that these accidental maps do depict real places.
As you will of gathered this group is more 'Asimov' or 'Men In Black' than 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'.
