About New Hampshire Fisher Cats

This group is about the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.The Fisher Cats play at MerchantsAuto.Com Stadium on the Merrimack River in Manchester NH.They are the Double A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.In 2004, the first year the Fisher Cats came to New Hampshire, they played at Gill Stadium while the new one was being built.It was that year that they won the Eastern League Championship beating the Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate, Altoona Curve.They have had many players make it to the Major Leagues.Such players include Adam Lind, Travis Snider, Gustavo Chacin, Jesse Litsch, David Purcey, Brandon League, and Shaun Marcum. Victor Zambrano, Gregg Zaun and Lyle Overbay have done Rehab stints with the Fisher Cats.
