11 Dec 07 - It is understandable that many of you non-scientists are at a bit of a loss about what kinds of photos you could possibly contribute to the Physics Pool. Check out this discussion for lots of ideas.
Remember! If it's not obvious in what way your photo has to do with physics, you must explain it in your description, or the photo won't be accepted into the pool!

About Physics

Everything about Physics! Labs, Physicists, people doing physics, discussions about physics, students of physics, meetings, etc. Everything from kindergarden kids doing labs to Nobel Prize winners giving lectures.

Limit images to Physics in some way. If it's not obvious what the image has to do with Physics, please explain the relation to Physics in your Description. Photos that don't seem to have anything to do with Physics, and no explanation relating them to physics will not be accepted. If you aren't sure, just ask.

If you have some favorite images that are not yours, feel free to post them, but give credit to source and please, only occasionally, no more than 5 per person total - we don't want to flood this site with Hubble photos and such.

Dedicated to the promotion of the wonders and pleasures of Physics, and helping non-scientists realize that it's not so hard to understand after all.

If you post any comments on the photos in this pool, please add the following note (copy and past) so the recipient knows where their photo was seen:
**Seen in the <a target="_blank"href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/98328567@N00/">Physics</a> group.**

It will appear in your comment like this:
**Seen in the Physics Group.**
