About Places That Want To Be Other Places This group is based on the idea, that urbanity means, that a city contains other places, imaginary places, places that signify an "elsewhere". Everybody would know about Chinatown in New York, or Little Italy - but how about cities like in Braunschweig, Bandung or South-Tangra? How does the desire to be somewhere-else express itself there? I am sure, also in your neighbourhood is a place, that dreams about being a different place. This desire of a place can be expressed through decoration, title, general design of a place. You name it.
