About Images of Lore

A place to post Lore Art - sketches, illustrations, paintings, renderings of Characters, scenarios and events from ancient lore from across the world
There must definitely be a story or a legend connected to the images.

Please try to give descriptions/links for all the lore that has been depicted - not everyone may be aware of that particular story.

The preconditions of posting are -
1. The images must represent any aspect of any lore across the world.
2. The lore must be more than about 1000 years old.
3. Do not offend anyone - offensive images are not allowed and will be removed if brought to the notice of the admins
