Old national UK road signs that have survived the 1963 Worboys Report and old photos featuring these signs.

No Local Council-issued signs. These include:
signs in the official style but to/on buildings,
cul-de-sac signs, 'No through roads' on one line,
Place Names, and any signs not in the national list on private roads like this

No Guideposts - these were Not affected by Worboys and are still made, so are Not included in this group (other 'directional' signposts OK).

No Milestones/mileposts, War Dept Markers or Ordnance Survey benchmarks - other groups exist for these.

No signs relating to paths (including no cycling) - these are either green fingerposts or local signs, and don't relate to roads directly.
