About Morro Rock
PLEASE NOTE PHOTOS MUST INCLUDE MORRO ROCK..
Artistic photos of the everchanging view of Morro Rock in Morro Bay, California. Sky, clouds, fog, tide level, surf level, surfers and boats in the backround, sunsets, stars, moon, water color all contribute to a different view of the rock at times from one moment to the next. Locals have the best chance to plan ahead to be there in the right place at the right time but anyone can join. Photos must include the rock and are limited to three per day.
Suggestions;
Watch the weather reports including tide and surf levels and plan ahead. Watch the sky for broken clouds and take advantage of them if you can. They make great HDR shots. The sun and the moon move closer and farther from the rock depending on the season.
