21 Mar 10 - GROUP NAME CHANGE: Members understand what a DMU or an RDC is, but some confusion over the term "Rail motor", has meant that a change of the name of this group, was required! Many photos were being posted that were "Off Topic" such as EMU's, loco hauled trains, and steam locomotives, which lead to the group being MODERATED from now on. Photos of "Mixed" trains, are very welcome. Freight trains with passenger cars attached operate in Canada, Turkey and some other countries.

Photos of self propelled railcars, DMU's Budd RDC's and freight trains that have a passenger car in their consist, known as "mixed" trains, are desired at this group. The group is MODERATED to stop "off topic" photos from being posted. |
