About Copycat Shops
Ever seen a Tesco in Egypt or an Aldi in Pakistan? How about a dodgy looking KFC in China or a suspiciously bad GAP in India? Ever been tempted into a small, ramshackle shop by a merchant enthusiastically shouting "Aldi price!"
This group is a collection of all those 'fake' or 'copycat' shops that spring up across the world. Often found in tourist places, these local shops attempt to benefit from the strength and power of the larger retail brand. Unfortunately, they often get fundamental aspects of the original brand completely wrong!
