About Moulin Rouge
This is a group for lovers of the film Moulin Rouge (Baz Lurhmann, 2001).
This is a free-thinking group where the idea is to post photos which in some sense capture or reflect essence of the film, whether it be Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love, the dancing, the music, the costumes, the set, the turn-of the century, the orphean myth, the bohos, the can-can or the beautiful but tragic love story of Satine and Christian.
And although we are free-thinkers, it seems as if we have to have some rules:
1. Do not post any images of frontal nudity displaying genitals, as that is against FLICKr Rules in all Public Groups that aren't 18+ specified. Topless is OK, as long as it is tasteful and has some clear relationship to the themes of Moulin Rouge!
2. Do not post any image that does not legally belong to the poster, such as images of people taken from the web that you yourself did not photograph, unless the photograph is of you.
3. Please don't post Discussion threads with links to other groups. This is considered SPAM by most group members in all groups, and the posting will be deleted. If everyone was to advertise their own group in discussions threads it would be a total mess.
