About Patrick O'Brian

We invite fans of Patrick O'Brian's novels to post related images, with special focus on his paramount life work -- Aubrey/Maturin Series. (The basis for the movie Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World)

The pictures can be photos of O'Brian's books, sailboats, scenes and places from the novels, or even animals Maturin saw during his travel. Currently there's no limit on the number of images a member can post. But please do not overwhelm it with variations of the same image.

We can bring our insight & delights of reading Patrick O'Brian to the group. Members can help each other out with perplexing nautical terms and eventually learn to tell port from starboard. So come on aboard all ye landlubbers!
