22 Dec 08 - I'd like to encourage you to also add photos to the 'discussion' threads which ask for your favorite themed photos. These will be like the contests other groups run, only without all the competition. It will just make it easier to find the sort of photo you're looking for. I'm going to start two for "Funniest" and "Most Regal", but please feel free to start your own =)

About Reigning Cats and Dogs .. In Our Gardens: All Pets Welcome!

I'd like to see photos that put two of my favorite things together: dogs and gardens. Dogs present challenges for gardeners, especially if you like a spot of lawn without spots. Then again dogs show their appreciation in so many ways .. rolling in the grass on their backs, patrolling the borders and sleeping peacefully in the sun. They make good mobile focal points for photography and are just plain good company out there.

This is my first attempt at starting a group so if you also like to see dogs in the garden please spread the word. If anyone else would like to extend invitations please feel free.

I am definitely canine-centric but would also enjoy seeing garden photos including cats, parrots and the other non-humanbeings that live with us.
