Contrary to the inhouse newsletter, this pool is not an open resource for staff to dip into to illustrate their sites.

The pool is a centrally managed resource of images supplied by BBC Staff . We informs users where and when their photos will be used so they maintain control of the syndication of their images.

If you do see an image in the pool you think you may like, drop a line to iPlayer Picture Editors to discuss its use.
