08 May 10 - Spring is taking its sweet time to arrive here in the high plains. There have been a few tiger beetle species out since late March, but things have been stagnant as a result of cold weather. I am glad to see we have a number of new members, with some excellent photos to boot! Keep up the good work.

About Cicindelephilia

This group was created to allow us cicindelophiles (tiger beetles folks) to have a central photo area. It is hoped that this group might not only serve as a central station for tiger beetle photos, but perhaps a place where we can educate folks as well. As a whole, tiger beetles represent a unique group of insects, in appearance, ecology, and behavior.
