10 Dec 08 - 12.10.08 - Hi everyone, and welcome to ABW! Thanks for coming by and hopefully joining up with us! We're getting great photography on here, and many thanks to those of you who have joined the group as well! Last week was big for us and we're hoping for even greater things today!

I really want us to grow into a group where people can show off a diverse range of high-quality work...anything non-bokehfied that you're proud of. Please spread the word and let other great photographers know.

About Anti Bokeh Wednesday

We're not anti-bokeh. We're not anti-Wednesday. We're not even anti- HBW, though some of us may be surprised how often HBW shows up in our photostreams even when it's not the point of our pictures.

Don't think of our 'anti' in terms of 'being against'. Think of our 'anti' in terms of 'being opposite to'. Like anti-matter, we're a balancing opposite to the mass of bokeh on the site.

We're here to stand up for wide-angle photography. For black and white. Time lapse is welcome here! Consider us the alternative lifestyle of Flickr...we're here for those forlorn souls who take pictures on Wednesdays that aren't about bokeh.

It's ok. Say it. "Shallow depth of field cannot take over an entire day of the week!" There. Doesn't that feel better? You have a home now. ABW!
