28 Jul 09 - Can't decide which version of a shot works best? This is the place to find out.
B&W or colour? Cropped or not? No problem! Post both versions to the group and let everyone else decide for you.
More than that, this is the place where people will tell you honestly which they prefer and why (we might even learn something along the way!).
Please have a look at the guidelines below which will help you get a better response.

About A or B? Indecision....
Indecision is the key to flexibility.
Or so they say. Most of the time it's just irritating.
Ever get two versions of a shot that and been unable to decide which you prefer? Perhaps the sky's better in one but the composition of the foreground's better in the other? Perhaps you've processed the same shot different ways: B&W or colour? Landscape or portrait? Or square? Smiling for the camera, or candid? Oooh, the decisions!
Post the options to the group and see what folks think. You'll get a better response if you include a medium sized image of the alternative in the comments of the pictures you post, but it's up to you.
As much as I hate groups with lots of rules, perhaps we should make just the one: No mindless flickrlove. While a simple vote for one option over another is perfectly acceptable, any actual praise must be just as well justified as any criticism.
I'll also delete any pictures posted to the pool that aren't obviously meant for comparison with each other (ie if you post just the one with no alternatives in the comments, or several unrelated images).
This group has blatantly been born from my own indecision and hopefully you're just as bad as me. But as a wise ol' mountain goat once said: "You are the Captain of your own ship."
Cheers folks - enjoy!
