02 Oct 08 - Thanks for all the great contributions, all! I changed the group name a bit to clarify that this is not for maps OR other types of signs, but only for map-related imagery. I changed the name again to make it a bit shorter.

About Maps in Signs & Graphics

This group is focused on signs and graphic displays that feature map shapes, globes, or other recognizable map imagery. I'm interested in good photos of interesting signs that feature maps -- including display maps or murals, art with map imagery, etc.

I'm not so much looking for traditional maps per se (or atlases or globes) or scans of genre things like map postcards (much as I love those), but mostly things "in the wild."

I know there are other groups that feature map images, but I don't think this group duplicates them exactly.
