Well after very careful & thorough deliberation we can proudly announce the winners of the contest.

1st Place to Robiwan_Kenobi

for his Ma.K Mercenary "Neuntöter"

2nd Place to The Lanterne Rouge

for his Space Falke

3rd Place to Mountain_King

for his Merc Dragonfly

Also we would like to make a special mention to neim343

for his unnamed fighter. We all absolutely loved this one, but after great discussion had to decide not to include it with the finalists as it unfortunately went against the contest rules being entirely painted. Sorry man, but you can rest assure that you blew us all away with this entry...very very well done!!

One last thing...I think I can speak for Tim & Peter when I say this...this was without a doubt the best line up of contest entries that we have ever seen. You have no idea how hard it was for me (us) to narrow it down to a final 10 let alone final 3. Everyone of you should be super proud of your entries!!

We just may have to make this (or should I say, 'Ma.K this') an annual affair! :)

There were so many excellent MOCs, it really was difficult narrowing it down. It was freakin' amazing what all was put up in here and I hope the broader Ma.K community appreciates it. I will admit to being a bit wary of this contest as I expected a bunch of entries that wouldn't fit my imaginary Ma.K. universe. But they really did. As the others have said it was a pain narrowing them down even to the final ten we voted on. The zebra won it. I love that tile and you used it brilliantly. Originally posted 8 months ago.
