20 Mar 07 - The PMA show in Melbourne is the premier photographic expo in Australia and is run by the Photo Marketing Association. The show comprises of a conference (industry only) and a convention where every major, and lots of minor photographic companies exhibit their goods. This is also a trade only event on Friday and until 12pm Saturday. After that it is open to the public. Hope this answers any questions regarding the type of show the exhibit will be shown at.

About Melbourne PMA Electronic Exhibition

This years main Australian Photographic Expo is in Melbourne, May 3-6.
The show is run by the Photo Marketing association of Australia and the Photographic Imaging Council of Australia.

A feature of every years show is an exhibition of photographs from the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.

This year however the organisers would like to invite members of the Melbourne Flickr groups to submit images to be used in a special 'Electronic Gallery'.

In keeping with the sharing nature of Flickr, we have created a wall of LCD frames of various sizes that will feature a constant electronic slide show of images of Melbourne.
This Electronic Gallery will feature nothing but images of Melbourne taken by Flickr members.

Flickr is a unique way of sharing pictures and we want to showcase this to the many thousands of attendees to the show.

There is a limit of 10 images per member and while we will try to have everyones images included we can not promise this.

By submitting your images here you give the Photo Marketing Association of Australia the right to publicly demonstrate your images at this event. Your images will not be used for any other purpose without prior consent.

We are excited by this project and we hope you will be too.

Come and join us in a unique display of images of our great city.
