- contributors who put pictures of people we know
- and viewers who are looking for enough of a description to have a feel for the person behind the portrait.
Please keep our viewer half in mind when contributing! :)

About 100 People I Know (portraits)
THE CONCEPT
"I know" : anyone you already have a relationship with before taking the portrait.
IMPORTANT : DESCRIBE who the person is to you.
"Portraits" : the one picture you would carry with you to show who the person is.
"100" : a single picture per subject, number each subject.
THE RULES
1) ADD A DESCRIPTION
Tell how the subject is not a stranger (otherwise the picture does not belong in the group) and describe who the subject is to you and perhaps what relationship you share.
2) NUMBER YOUR PICTURES
By doing so, you clearly state the picture is intended for this group. Otherwise the picture will be considered as having been mistakenly added.
You can copy « This picture is #XX in my 100 People I know set » or include your choice of line to the same effect.
3) LIMIT AT ONE PICTURE A DAY
Give yourself and others the time to enjoy the presentation.
4) BE RESPECTFUL AND POSITIVE
In pictures, descriptions and comments.
5) ADD ONLY PICTURES YOU HAVE TAKEN
It is your perspective and how you view the subject that is interesting.
Recommendations :
- Whenever possible, avoid old retrospective photos
The point is not to pass on the opportunity to try for another more recent picture, especially as there is no rush to do so.
- make a set
Other members will enjoy seeing your other "100 People I know" portraits, it will be easier and more pleasant for all if all your pictures are gathered in a set.
You can also tag the pictures with "100peopleiknow".
The hope is this project will be experienced as a pleasant journey through all the personal relationships that make up one’s life.
