Here's a group for images that combine an old photo together with a recent photo of the same place in the SAME image.

Maybe I am the only person who like to make these kinds of images, but who knows??

In most of mine, the old photo is a picture postcard from the 1920s or 1930s. In mine, I mostly try to take a photo from the same spot as the original photographer, in order to see the subject from a similar angle, But of course that's not always possible.

When you see an old photo in a book, magazine, on a postcard or on a website, do you sometimes wonder what that spot looks like now? If it still exists? What meaning that place has today? If it is even recognizable today?

I suggest putting tags on your images, so that people could search (within this group) on a particular place., for example the name of the city, state, country, building, neighborhood or monument.
