...in the view and understanding of and the love for the poem of Walt Whitman (1819-1892) with his deep, real , poetic and symbolic words and images about the subject: roads, streets, ways etc.

Afoot and light-hearted I take to the open road,
Healthy, free, the world before me...

Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune...

(Still here I carry my old delicious burdens,
I carry them. men and woman,
I carry them with me wherever I go...

The earth expanding right hand and left hand,
The picture alive, every part in its best light...

Allons! the road is before us!
