About A to Z dolls
The main aim of this group is to create a sort of doll database according to the alphabet. So titles and names do matter and are at the core of the main rules:
*Titles will have to state either the name of the brand or the official name that was given to the doll. For example:
If you post a picture of your Love me Linda, the title can either be “V is for Vogue” or “L is for Love me Linda”.
If you post a photograph of your Ichigo Heaven you can choose among: “I is for Ichigo Heaven”, “H is for Ichigo Heaven”, or “B is for Blythe”, “N is for Neo Blythe”, and “T is for Takara”.
*Any kind of doll is welcome: vinyl, cloth, china, wood, celluloid, resin, etc...vintage, recent, played with, in box... but, because of the rule mentioned above, you will need to be able to tell at least its official name or its brand.
*This is not a place where to post an art doll for which there is no registered trade mark (however beautiful they often are), nor a heavily customized doll (as many pullips or blythes). A reroot is okay, but if it is not possible to recognize the stock doll, then its presence in the database can’t be helpful. There are plenty of other groups where to post these. :)
*Descriptions and tags are also most welcome. They can only help identifying even more clearly a doll. But to avoid picture spam, try not to post a dozen clichés of just one same doll.
*Please be polite. Bitching won’t be tolerated. Tastes can’t be argued. If you hate the doll that is posted, refrain your snarky comment or go somewhere else to spit your venom.
Any contribution is valuable. This is just a place for people who love dolls, all sorts of dolls. Hopefully, it will also become a place where to get to know more about them
