In essence, all humans practice psychology to some degree, studying our sorroundings -- both human and otherwise -- trying to make sense of ourselves and others. Merely by perceiving 'reality', we take in all those caught glances and thrown expressions, judge the decisions made, remember the events, dread or anticipate the future...
Inevitably, we take photos, capturing some of this.
