About ISLE OF MAN / ELLAN VANNIN

Hello and welcome all, thankyou for looking at our group. The group is open to anyone who wishes to post images of the ISLE OF MAN - Ellan Vannin, meaning Isle of Man in the Manx language. Ellan Vannin is a very special place. The feel good factor amongst the residents is one of the highest in the world. The majority of the Island is still green, it is photography Heaven ! It combines all the lovely scenic elements of our closest neighbours, England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales .The Island is 33 miles by 13, which equates to 227 square miles. The Island is most famous for the TT races, and its history which stretches back millenniums, If you want to know more about Ellan Vannin, please do check out the link below, and if you ever get chance to visit our lovely Island with your camera , please do.
