About Memory Donation

Hi everyone
I have found a means of combining my passion for photography with my passion for charity and this group is the end result. To me this group is about sharing your memories with the world around you. It is about sharing the feelings of wonder and delight that we all experience as we capture time.

My vision is to develop a society that fully utilizes the therapeutic qualities of photography, to aid those in need. The main objective of this society is to lend a helping hand to established charitable associations.

Method:
1) Gather photography donations from all around the World.
2) Develop the collection of photographs into a product (Posters, Calendars, Stickers, Post Card....) NB-This is where the group work comes into play. So please if you have any ideas write them up on the discussion board.
3) Use our product to gather charitable funds (One idea that I have for this step it allow those who donate the option of selecting which charity receives their monetary contributions).
4) Donate all the collected funds to the appropriate charities.
5) Expand our society.

I plan for this to be an ongoing project and I hope that it will prosper into a work of art. Join me and the rest of the World and make a Memory Donation.

A bit about myself:

I see myself as an honest and friendly sports enthusiast. I strive for excellence in all aspects of my life whether it is educational, sporting or general day to day activity. I live everyday to the fullest and thrive on challenges. I work well within a team environment and make an extra effort whenever I can.

I am currently three quarters of the way through my second year of Medical School at the University of Auckland. I see the cardiology field as a potential career path for me as a future doctor but would also like to delve into the research side of medicine.

As you already may have figured out I have a dedicated passion for photography. Beautiful scenery is my happy place, it is my outlet during times of exam stress and it is what I see all around me each time I open my eyes. Now that I have secured an educational pathway in life I would like to build on the idiosyncrasies that make me whole- such as my artistic side.
