About Down On The Street

This Group is a tribute to Jalopnik.com's Down on the Street and Down on the Street Bonus Edition feature.

This is the place to send pictures of street parked classic or "malaise era" cars.

What we're looking for:
The car must be parked on the street this means: no driveways, no car shows, no private property, and not while driving.
The general cutoff for domestic cars is the early 80s
The general cutoff for imports is a little later.

The guiding principle is that the car must be interesting in some way. A run-of-the-mill 68 Mustang is a cool car, but a total beater 68 Mustang is way more interesting.
