About Share Your Favorite Rules of Photography
BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE RULE OF PHOTOGRAPHY YOU EITHER FOLLOWED OR BROKE THAT LEAD YOU TO CAPTURE YOUR PICTURE - IN THE PHOTO'S DESCRIPTION.
This group is NOT just a place to post your pictures. It's a place to post your pictures AND the rule of photography you followed or veered completey away from that led you to get those shots. The rules are as important as the picture.
I don't want to copy your pictures, but I sure do want to copy your rules, values and beliefs that lead to your greatest pictures.
I am certain this is an important group for newbies, because I centered the subject in the first six thousand pictures I took. (arrrrrgh!)
Post one to three pictures per day.

My own favorite rules:
1.Never center the subject.
2.When the sun is low and the shadows are long - shoot.
3.If the sun is high and the shadows are short, don't shoot.
4.If something moves you or surprises you or makes you think, shoot it.
The very first rule I adopted from a flickr pro: "If you see red, shoot it."
