Expired paper?
|
I've been finding a ton of zink paper and most of it either expires on 6/09 or 08/09. Can you still successfully use expired paper? Tareget stores here in the US have the Pogo on sale for $69 and it seems like a good buy.

If you keep paper in a sealed Ziplock bag with a dessicant added, and put it in your basement (or refrigerator - remember THOSE days with "real film"?) it should last for years.

Does it still last if you keep it in its (unopened) packaging? Should you still put in a fridge?

Markstuff, can you clarify your intructions? Will the paper keep if you store it in the fridge in its original, sealed packaging? I only ask because I don't have any dessicant. :-)

I bought some expired paper on eBay that was supposed to be used by 6/09. I received it today and the prints were fine. Maybe I was just lucky.

I bought 23 packs of 10 from kmart when they were selling them out for $1 a pack. $50 total landed me the printer and 23 packs of paper. I realise now they are all expired (weren't expired when I bought them though). Still prints fine for me, but time will tell.
