About Cuban food / Comida Cubana
Let's face it, Cuban food is not just some ordinary ethnic cuisine, it's actually a sophisticated melange of the different cultures that settled on the largest island in the Caribbean. Cuban food has influences that are Spanish, Carib Native American, African, and even Chinese.
Cuban cuisine has almost nothing in common with Mexican cuisine, which is a surprise for many visitors from the United States or Europe. It also differs from other Latin American cuisines and food traditions of the United States.
Enjoy, and work towards helping the Cubans achieve the human rights and democracy that their communist overlords are not giving them.
