About 7:1 ( Every Pet Deserves A Home)

This group is for the posting of professional, quality shots of adopted and/or rescued animals. This includes pets you have adopted from animal shelters, strays, and also pets you may have acquired via sites such as craigslist. You are welcome to post animals that are currently looking for homes as well as long as the photos are of professional quality and are not snapshots (there are many other flickr groups that help adoptable pets find homes as well).

The purpose of this group is to represent the vast number of adoptable pets in the US (as well as other countries) and how they have enriched our lives in the hopes that they might convince another person and/or family to adopt a pet and to (hopefully) discourage irresponsible breeding. While you do not have to post photos of your pet specifically we are hoping to make this an interactive group where we can share stories of adoptions while challenging ourselves as photographers.
