Get inspired - quickly! You only have seven days per subject to come up with your best and most creative solutions to the weekly assignment. New projects are posted on Monday and run until Sunday of the same week. When the new weekly subject is posted, the previous week's subject is closed and no more images can be submitted.

The focus of this group is for you to improve as a photographer through continued practice, constantly challenging yourself, and supportive/constructive feedback on your work. This group will select a subject each week that is open to interpretation in any way you see fit. We suggest that you try different approaches and techniques to increase your skill base and to just have fun. Any technique is a viable means to create an image - alternative processing, digital darkroom, image manipulation, toy cameras, pinholes, polaroid transfers, photograms, or infrared photography.

This group is by invitation only. Contact the group admin if you're interested in joining or know of someone who you would like to have invited into the group. Photographers will be allowed to contribute 50 images per week to the pool. When you post an image, please comment on the two images that were posted before you. We honestly want to get something out of this. Whether you've been shooting for ten minutes or ten years, we all want feedback that may help us improve or encourage us towards improvement.

The fine print: 1.) all images contributed must be taken during the specified weekly subject unless you are creating some type of montage in which case at least one portion of the image must have been created during the same week as everyone else; 2.) no nude, suggestive, erotic or pornographic imagery - this is a family focused group; 3.) failure to follow the above guidelines and rules will result in you being banned from the group; 4.) we reserve the right to remove images that don't follow the guidelines or subject matter at any time.
