This is probably my favourite. After a long climb through the woods outside Looe we passed over the crest of the hills and looked down on this view of Talland Bay. I love the coastline of Essex but it's nothing like Cornwall!

I hope I haven't taken it yet but so far for personal reasons this is it. When I lived west of Penzance I'd often see the aircraft homing in on the beacon near Pendeen. A few years ago flying back from America I looked down just before dawn to see the whole of Mount's Bay in the twilight with all the lights twinkling, it was a beautiful sight.
It took us 12 hours to get home from Gatwick :-(

This was taken at Bedruthan in September. It was one of the last summery days this year, and a wonderful time to have seen the steps and rock formations. It was even warm enough for a paddle!

Howdy Cornish peops - I wandered past your group and decided to put my head round the door,
I've included this picture from Watergate Bay - which I took a few weeks ago. The sea was steamy and there was a mist hanging around the shoreline, muting the sound of crashing waves. It was eerie.
I was in the Beach Hut for a bit of Sunday lunch - when the light turned all funny - so I went out to investigate.

Not easy to choose a favourite since I have so many, but I think this one of Bedruthan I took in January 2005 is quite special because of the light and shadow, and of course the beauty of the North Cornish coast...

This one is an unusual composition, but perhaps it captures the sense of awe which often happens in Cornwall when you get to the edge of a cliff and look down.

The sea is a special colour all around the far west peninsula.

Only just got back from visiting last night. I didn't quite as many shots as I wished due to a frustrating, ill-timed cold. Here's probably my favourite of the ones I shot though:

It's the view from the gardens on St Michael's Mount.
I have a few others I took at the top of my flickr stream. I also visited Porthtowan and St Ives, but my migraine insured that my camera stayed in my bag.
