About Face In The Fountain

A group exclusively for photographs and related discussions of the "face in the fountain", at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

The beautiful face we see is actually the work of the late sculptress Christine Sibley. This work was commissioned by the Atlanta Botanical Garden and is located at the Ferst Fountain. The faces are those of water nymphs (or lotus ladies, as Ms. Sibley referred to them.) Deep appreciation is acknowledged to the late Christine Sibley for her kind permission to photograph her work and display it here for noncommerical use only.
