About Obama Family Dog - Rescue Dogs Up for Adoption

America's shelters and rescue groups are filled with loving, friendly family dogs. It's been reported that Barack Obama and his family are considering getting a dog once the election is over, and the AKC has suggested they purchase a purebred.
Let's show the Obamas what incredible dogs, both mutts and purebreds, are up for adoption across the country. Rescue groups and shelters, please post pictures and videos of your favorite adoptable family dogs and puppies... be sure to include your contact information, in case Barack (or anyone else!) is interested in adopting.
